Protecting your personal data matters to me. Below you’ll find information on how personal data is processed when visiting this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by an external provider (Hostinger, operated by Hostinger International Ltd.). Personal data collected on this site is stored on the provider’s servers — primarily IP addresses, contact requests, meta/communication data and technically necessary access data. Hosting is carried out in my legitimate interest in a secure and efficient provision of my website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (DPA) is in place with the host.

3. Server log files

When you access the site, the hosting provider automatically collects standard server log data (browser type/version, operating system, referrer URL, date and time, shortened/anonymised IP address). This data is not merged with other sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a technically error-free and secure website).

4. Contact (form & email)

If you contact me via the form or by email, your details (name, email address, message) are processed to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer required and no statutory retention periods apply.

Form provider (Formspree)

For technical delivery of the contact form I use Formspree, operated by Formspree, Inc. (USA). When you submit the form, your details (name, email address, message) are processed via Formspree’s servers and delivered to me by email (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR). This may involve a transfer to the USA, which Formspree bases on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 44 et seq. GDPR). More:formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.

5. External profiles & links

This website links to external profiles (incl. Instagram, LinkedIn) and to WhatsApp. These are plain links — no content, plugins or tracking pixels from these providers are embedded. A connection to the respective provider is only established once you actively click such a link; their privacy terms then apply.

6. Cookies & tracking

This website uses no analytics or marketing cookies and no tracking. A purely technical setting (your chosen light/dark appearance) is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not transmitted. No cookie banner is therefore required.

7. Fonts

Fonts are served locally from this server (self-hosted). There is no connection to third-party servers such as Google Fonts, and no data is transferred for this purpose.

8. AI-assisted content

Web, image and video content on this website may have been created or edited, in whole or in part, with the help of artificial intelligence (AI). No personal data from your use of this website is transferred to AI services for this purpose.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection, and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

10. SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL/TLS encryption, recognisable by “https://” in your browser’s address bar.
